These are a range of hills that run from the northern part of Auckland to the southern part. These ranges provide various attractive sites to the visitors like Phia (famous for the Lion rock), Karekare, Muriwai & Te Henga (Bethells Beach).

• The Auckland Art Gallery

For someone who likes art and would love to see some of the classical and modern art, the Auckland Art Gallery is a must visit. The trip around the gallery will take one full day and at the end of the trip, one can sit at one of the many cafes or restaurants for dinner.

• Vineyards

Interested in doing some fine wine tasting? Try the various vineyards that Auckland is dotted with. One can go for a day long trip or can join one of the many wine tasting tours that are organised.

• The Underwater World

Kelly Tarleton, the famous Kiwi adventurer, had built this underwater park so that people can enjoy the amazing sea life, which Auckland has to offer. One can enjoy looking at giant sharks, and other species while at the park.
