Joey going home

A little joey that got worried when it saw us and got into mum’s pouch. The joey had tried to get in the pouch three other times but mum wouldn’t let it in. One time it just got dumped out onto the ground so mum could keep eating.

  1. Unbelievable! I never would have guessed a joey was that big, and could still fit in mom’s pouch! Ouch! Thank goodness we don’t have those pouches (although the kids still hang from our hips and shoulders, don’t then?). At least we don’t have to bounce everywhere! čśë

    • Thanks, I took these down at Coffin Bay, South Australia. There were a lot of kangaroos with joeys around and they would come into the campground.
